Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing pain management team. The RN will play a vital role in assessing, performing pre and post op duties, and implementing individualized care plans for patients experiencing pain, while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pain assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Administer pain relief medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Assist physicians with interventional pain procedures (e.g., injections, nerve blocks).
  • Educate patients and families on pain management strategies, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (pain management or related specialty preferred; new graduates welcome).
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
