Join Our Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician
Central Veterinary Hospital in Fremont, CA is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our well-established general practice team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment. As a Registered Veterinary Technician at Central Veterinary Hospital, you will play an integral role in patient care and client communication within our practice.What We Offer

Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technician for technician appointments
- Perform or assist with physical exams and prescribed treatments
- Communicate treatment plans and provide clear, compassionate client education
- Monitor anesthesia and assist veterinarians during procedures as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
- Uphold hospital standards for patient care, safety, and client service
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Venipuncture, vaccine administration, and X-ray proficiency
- IV catheter placement and endotracheal tube placement
- Dental cleaning/polishing, extractions under DVM supervision, and dental X-rays
- Wound assessment, bandaging, and splinting
- Urine collection via cystocentesis (with ultrasound)
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
- In-house lab work and blood pressure monitoring
- Preparation of surgery packs and patient surgical prep
- Client education and post-op instructions
