Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Release Coordinator to join our Information Technology team.

Location: This position will be based out of our Purchase, NY, New York, NY, Morristown, NJ, Conshohocken, PA, Mt Juliet, TN, Charlotte, NC, Alpharetta, GA, Chicago, IL, or Boston, MA office. What you'll be doing:

End-to-End Release Coordination:

  • Maintain a transparent view of CR's that span multiple applications.

  • Focus initiates with GWPC CR's and follows them through all downstream application releases.

  • Coordinate with all production operations to ensure smooth transitions of E2E CR's across all teams.

Production Operations Support:

  • Collaborate with production operations teams to ensure smooth transitions from release to production.

  • Coordinate operations teams to address and resolve issues related to production and release schedules.

Release Planning and Management:

  • Coordinate with Production Operations to define release requirements and priorities.

  • Conduct release readiness reviews and coordinate with other release managers.

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and conflicts across the E2E application lifecycle and suggest mitigation strategies, including after action reviews of each release.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that CR's with end-to-end implications are monitored and managed effectively.

  • Monitor and report on release and production metrics, in cooperation with all Production Operations teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Percentage of successful end-to-end application and production releases.

  • Time-to-market for end-to-end application enhancements.

  • Stakeholder satisfaction with E2E testing.

  • Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) for production issues post-release.

What you'll bring:

Education:

  • Degree in Management, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Experience working in a large-scale environment with multiple teams.

  • Hands-on experience coordinating demand and capacity while serving multiple clients or stakeholders.

Skills:

  • MUST be extremely organized and structured.

  • Experience with coordinating multiple teams, including those who may not be the most cooperative.

  • Proficient at trouble shooting and optimizing in a production environment.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, focus on transparency and visibility.

  • Ability to learn new systems and tools, especially ADO.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
