Job Description
Fii USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Reliability Lab Technician to support testing, inspection, and quality validation activities and ensure products meet required standards. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Repair and Rework department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.The Reliability Lab Technician will perform testing on subassemblies and final assemblies, assist with quality investigations, maintain testing documentation, and assist the Repair and Rework Department as needed.Job Responsibilities:
- Perform reliability testing, inspection, and validation activities on components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory functions to ensure quality and reliability standards are met.
- Identify and recognize various electronic components and demonstrate proficiency with common electronic tools.
- Support analysis of contract or customer requirements to determine quality characteristics and inspection needs.
- Develop, modify, and maintain testing documentation and quality procedures.
- Analyze warranty returns to determine root cause of product failures.
- Conduct testing on electronic assemblies using established procedures.
- Support internal and external audit activities as needed.
- Assist in nonconformance investigations and participate in disposition processes.
- Conduct final inspections and prepare quality inspection reports.
- Verify repaired units meet appearance, functionality, and quality criteria.
- Ensure all test equipment is calibrated and in proper working condition.
- Provide clear feedback to supervisors regarding trends, recurring issues, or unusual failures.
- Assist Quality Engineers with measurement analysis for production launches.
- Support weekend or second shift operations as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of PCB testing procedures.
- Experience reading prints, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
- Hands-on experience calibrating test instruments and performing functional testing.
- Soldering experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical requirements as needed for a production and testing environment.
