We are looking for a Reservoir Data Analyst and/or Scientist to join our new Optimization and Growth team. Your work scope will be wide ranging from building and managing data pipelines to advancing data automation, analysis, AI, and machine learning at the company. You will have the opportunity to work with and impact various groups from field operations to engineering. Overall, the role will strive to set the company up for success by providing access to accurate/reliable data, automating workflows, and advancing analysis with leading edge data analytics methods.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers and IT to continuously improve data integrity and accessibility across production, wellbore, well attributes, and artificial lift data
Maintain data flows into key software, ensuring data integrity
Develop dashboards with engineers to trial new ways of tracking and visualizing data to optimize well performance
Essential Experience & Skills
Ability to work and problem solve independently with limited guidance
Maintain data flows in SQL and Snowflake environments
Advanced Spotfire (or PowerBI) and MS Office Experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment balancing changes in priority and scope of projects
Bachelor's degree required in Data/Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of data analytics methods like Logistic Regression, Time Series Analysis, GLMs, Mixed Modeling, Multivariate Statistics, Predictive Modeling, Decision Trees, Gradient-Boosted Trees, Random Forests, and Neural Networks
Time series forecasting and anomaly detection
Understanding of programming languages such as Python, R, or similar
Experience in ARIES, SQL and Access database management
