Job Description
Are you passionate about supporting adolescents in a therapeutic residential setting? Join our dedicated team as a Residential Care Associate / Med Tech and make a meaningful impact every day.
What You'll Do:
Provide compassionate, hands-on care to children and adolescents in a residential treatment program
Facilitate therapeutic groups, recreational activities, and daily routines
Administer medications under supervision and maintain accurate documentation
Monitor resident safety and well-being, responding to behavioral needs with empathy and professionalism
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support individualized treatment plans
Transport residents to appointments and community activities
Assist with onboarding and training of new staff
What You'll Need:
Minimum age: 21
High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred
Experience working with adolescents in residential care preferred
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screening
Certified Medication Technician (CMT) through Maryland Board of Nursing preferred-or willingness to complete training
Current CPR/BLS certification
Willingness to complete required residential training and CPS clearance
