Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist Lead assists Director for twenty-four hour/day accountability for the planning, directing, leading and evaluating the care, provided by the Respiratory Services staff and EEG Department. Oversees staffing schedule, providing shift coverage to meet minimum staffing requirements and is accountable for meeting Departmental productivity goals. Act as Point of Care Supervisor for ABG's testing. Assists in the Preparation of requests for the fiscal year's budget.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Therapy
License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Life Support (ACLS)- American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
Pediatric Life Support (PALS)- American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) - Certified Respiratory Therapy (CRT) Or National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) - Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT)
National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) - Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS)
Work Experience
- Three years' Acute Care experience required
