The Restaurant Development Administrator is a crucial member of the Development Team at MajorFood Group, which is a crucial part of the organization at large. This role is designed for aself-starter that is capable of working across constituencies on high level projects, while also beingable to get into the nitty gritty of jobs and tasks to ensure projects are executed correctly. TheRestaurant Development Administrator works within the development team on new restaurants andcorporate initiatives, as well as with General Managers and Chefs on site specific projects. TheRestaurant Development Administrator is expected to act as a representative of Major Food Groupand always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Candidates must be:- Available to work out of our NYC office- Willing to travel for projects- Willing to work flexible hours for the production of a project
Responsibilities:â Administrative Support- Support the development team as well as senior leadership/Partners with travel bookings, expense management and document/ archival organizationâ Project Management- Coordinate between key team members on projects as needed tomake sure key dates are met and information is consistently disseminatedâ Platform Management- Assist in copy and content management of all websites andplatforms, including but not limited to Google, Caviar/ Doordash, Yelp, and native websites.â Collateral Organization- Assist Restaurant Development Team in the organization of creativecollateral and branding information. This includes all development materials and creativeassets, including but not limited to menus, photos, templates, and marketing materials, onplatforms including Google Drive and Dropbox.â Purchasing Support- Assist in tracking and placement of orders of all materials and suppliesfor new and existing concepts.â Operational Support- Assist restaurant management teams as needed during openings andact as a catch all and problem solver while on site.â Research & Development- work and research on product, packaging and operationalsolutions for new and existing conceptsâ Marketing Support- Assist in filtering press, marketing, and partnership opportunities withthe right teams.
• Skills and Qualifications:- Excel- Administrator must be able to support development team and restaurant teams with• financial reporting template updates and creation.- Google Suite- Basic knowledge of how to schedule meetings, use Google Sheets, and• organize Google Drive Folders- Restaurant Operations- Fundamental understanding of the flow and steps of service,• breakdown of position and roles, and standard tools and materials.- Communication skills- written, verbal, and presentational- Experience working in a fast paced environment
