Restaurant Manager

If you are looking to make a difference, we’d love to talk to you! We are currently seeking a Dining Room Manager to join our team!
Job Qualifications: Previous experience of 2+ years in a food service or hospitality supervisory capacity, or exhibited commensurate level of skills and knowledge with demonstrated productivity achievement level required. Prior experience in senior living, restaurant atmosphere or country club setting preferred. Other relevant skills include an understanding of basic principles of dietetics, food sanitation, quantity purchasing and food preparation, food and labor laws and other generally observed food service techniques.
Job Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining or improving the health of residents by interpreting residents’ nutritional needs and providing for them with respect to food service. Must plan diets, educate residents and staff, and ensure quality of care. In addition, responsible for the service of meals and daily oversight of all service personnel within Currents Lounge, Cascades, The James and PAV Pizza.
Performance Expectations: Must be able to plan, organize and complete all tasks on a timely basis and be able to maintain standards in the nutritional program. Must keep abreast of all state requirements and nutritional trends. Must be self-motivated; complete tasks with little direction and within deadlines. Serve as the key liaison between Dining Services and Health Services. A professional appearance and manner are required. Must communicate effectively with all members of the Executive Team. In the spirit of teamwork, must be willing to do other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Director of Dining Services.
