Job Description
The Experience Senior Living Team is comprised of dynamic professionals that are fueled by their passion to empower people as they grow older to live life to the fullest. We are looking for a Restaurant Server to join our amazing team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of customer service and promote a fine dining atmosphere.
- Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to ensure residents are satisfied with food and dining programs.
- Set tables following Experience Senior Living standards.
- Serve beverages and meals to residents and guests in a timely manner.
- Review daily menus with residents and assist with meal selections.
- Deliver accurate meal orders and respond to special requests as needed.
- Clear used or soiled dishes and utensils from dining areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines and uphold Quality Enhancement standards.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and themed dining experiences.
- Acquaint new residents with menus, seating options, and dining etiquette.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and condiment containers.
- Share feedback from residents regarding food preferences with the Director of Culinary Services for menu improvements.
- Encourage teamwork and a collaborative environment among all staff members.
- Participate in pre-meal meetings with dining and kitchen staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Aptitude for resolving customer issues and complaints.
