The Restitution and Ranch Supervisor is responsible for agricultural operations that include horses, goats, cattle, vegetable gardens, bees, and pheasants, as well as other associated programs. This position includes direct supervisory responsibilities over assigned staff and inmate workers in all aspects of the land management. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for identifying restitution and community service activities in the community and works with the Youth Court to provide the required documentation for these activities completed by the offenders at the facility. This position also provides restitution activities for the adult offender population housed at PHCF. The incumbent facilitates these activities with safety and security as a priority while teaching the residents life skills in a variety of vocations.

QUALIFICATIONS

The knowledge, skills and abilities for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to:

Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Science, Law Enforcement, Teaching/Counseling, or related field

2 years of related experience

1 year of supervisory or lead worker experience

Valid Driver's License

Correctional Detention Officer Basic

Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
