We are seeking a professional & friendly candidate to join our team as Retail Customer Service Cashier. This role is part of a team that visits cruise ships (while in Miami and Fort Lauderdale) to distribute packages and sell items to the crew members. Candidates must be friendly, team players, accurate.
Responsibilities
- Assist to load & offload carts of merchandise & bags of packages in to/from delivery vehicles
- Assist to screen Packages at X-ray machines in the presence of port & ship's security teams
- Distribute packages to crew members in a friendly & efficient manner (onboard the ships)
- Log out packages & collect payments when applicable as per set procedures
- Display and sell merchandise
- Always maintain excellent relationship with port & ship employees
Qualifications
- Ability to work with a team, under pressure and in changing environmental conditions
- Must be available to work weekends
- Attention to detail
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- TWIC / Port ID card holders are an asset
Seasonal role from October/November to May. All weekends needed.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
