Job Description

The Retail Operations Specialist provides essential administrative and operational support to the Retail Operations Manager and all Branch locations. This role ensures the smooth execution of daily Branch processes by coordinating communications, maintaining operational documentation, supporting training efforts, and assisting with the rollout of Retail initiatives. The Specialist serves as a key liaison to maintain consistency, compliance, and efficiency across all locations.

  • Serves as a first point of contact for branch level operational questions and challenges, and resolves or directs them appropriately.
  • Supports the delivery of training materials and job aids to ensure consistency in operational practices across all Branch locations and assists in the coordination and scheduling of operational training, including onboarding and ongoing education initiatives.
  • Produces and creates reports from Business Analytics to support compliance monitoring initiatives and operational efficiencies. Works directly with the Retail leadership to assist with operational and compliance adherence goals and the Bank wide strategic priorities.
  • Partners with the Bank's Compliance and BSA teams to actively monitor compliance and audit related activities for Branches. Provides updates of deficiencies and assists with facilitating or coordinating supplemental training where necessary.
  • Assists with operational projects including new, enhanced or modified products, new operational procedures, and new sales initiatives.
  • Supports with key initiatives including maintaining and implementing divisional operations/audit processes and procedures that will improve client satisfaction as well as drive efficiency.
  • Serve as a backup administrator for Retail systems such as the bank teller platform, instant issue platform, source capture, and Business Process Manager (BPM). Assists as needed with core provider collaboration on system upgrades and maintenance. Collaborates with I.T. department to ensure uptime of systems, management of employee access, and reporting.
