Position Overview:
Freddie Mac's Risk System Development team is seeking a talented professional with 1-3 years of experience to join as a Risk System Development Associate II. This role is specifically designed for individuals looking to advance their careers in risk management and financial services, particularly in the secondary mortgage market. It provides a platform to apply and expand your skills, make a tangible impact on our risk management systems, and contribute to the stability and success of a leading financial organization.

Your Impact:
Support and enhance risk management processes and technologies, including Gen AI implementation, process flow optimization, and efficient EUC process management.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth API/MFT set-up and integration, facilitating seamless data exchange and secure access management.
Leverage your analytical skills and programming expertise to interpret large datasets using Snowflake and SQL, driving insights that inform strategic decision-making.
Maintain data integrity and security by adhering to stringent access management protocols and implementing data governance best practices.
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, especially regarding PPI data, to ensure our risk management systems are proactive and compliant.
Utilize your prior experience in the Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae environment to expedite your understanding of our unique systems and processes.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline) is required.
1-3 years of industry experience in risk management, data analytics, financial services, or a similar field, preferably with exposure to the Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae environment.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar is expected, along with a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $83,000 - $125,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
