The Risk & Insurance Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Risk Management team with tasks assigned by the Senior Insurance Specialist and/or Director of Risk Management. This individual plays an important and intrical role within the Risk Management Department in the facilitation of matters that arise both internally and externally.Essential Functions:• Procures the business licenses for all locations in which the company operates in.• Assist Insurance Specialist and Senior Insurance Specialist with collection of applicable documents related to general liability, workman’s compensation, personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage.• Coordinates with project teams and Clune’s insurance broker to enroll projects in specialty lines of insurance i.e. builders risk, subcontractor default, railroad protective liability etc.• Assists other members of the risk management department with the gathering of related documents of the annual insurance renewal process and the maintenance of the surety program for the Company.• Consistently identify areas in which various levels of risk may be identified throughout the licensing, insurance procurement and bonding process and suggest ideas and/or processes to increase the departments efficiency and ability to mitigate risk.
