Overview
We are hiring an RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Med-Surg and Ortho/Neuro Trauma units in Kansas City, MO. This leadership role supports a 585+ bed Level I Trauma hospital, ensuring patient-centered care while mentoring staff and advancing unit performance.
Responsibilities
Provide charge-level oversight during assigned shifts.
Support admissions, discharges, and patient throughput.
Mentor staff, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with policies.
Collaborate with management to assess and improve quality of care.
Support scheduling, resource allocation, and supply management.
Qualifications
RN license in Missouri or Compact state.
Nursing Diploma/ADN required; BSN preferred.
Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg RN experience (charge experience preferred).
BLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire.
Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
