Roll-Off Garbage Driver

Waste Connectionsis looking for individuals who have a passion for driving, career growth, and share our #1 Value:Safety! We are currently hiring aRoll-Off Garbage Truck Driverto join our team atTampa Hauling in Tampa, FL.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Safely operate a Roll-Off garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste
• Read route sheets and service each customer as assigned
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance (fluids, safety equipment, tires)
• Load and unload materials, sometimes without assistance
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities
• Interact courteously with customers and perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Typical schedule:Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed (approx.50 hours/week)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• ValidClass A or B CDL
• Minimum2 years of Roll-Off driving experiencewith a stable work history
• Ability to lift50+ pounds
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Garbage truck experience is aplus
