Room Attendant - Housekeeping

Join the Marriott Orlando Downtown team as a Room Attendant in Housekeeping, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms in accordance with Marriott standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and amenities.
• Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and items, such as soaps, shampoos, and towels.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including corridors and elevators, when necessary.
• Assist with laundry operations as needed.
• Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and Marriott’s cleanliness protocols.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as needed.
