Job Description

SAFETY AND SECURITY ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Safety and Security Administrative Specialist to serve as the first point of contact at our corporate headquarters. This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service while ensuring the security and safety of our employees, visitors, and vendors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in reception or security, customer service, or corporate office environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate for this position will be responsible for:

  • Managing vehicle reservations, including tracking mileage and maintaining spreadsheets for accounting purposes.
  • Monitoring and responding to communications through the Lobby Desk email and calendar.
  • Performing daily morning camera checks, including surveillance under the parking deck.
  • Overseeing parking assignments for the headquarters campus.
  • Updating, maintaining, and distributing Emergency Evacuation Rosters.
  • Preparing and distributing New Hire Safety and Security Welcome Information via email.
  • Assisting in drafting and distributing department notifications and advisories.
  • Supporting the maintenance and updates of the department’s internal website.
  • Providing general assistance with daily departmental tasks as needed.

Requirements for the position include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Exceptional observation and decision-making skills.
  • Use of initiative and independent judgement.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Ability to access, input, and process information with the computer for up to two hours intermittently.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • College degree or some college completed preferred.
  • Previous experience in reception or security preferred.
  • Experience working in a corporate office environment preferred.
