Safety Coordinator - Construction
We're hiring a Safety Coordinator to support our construction teams and ensure every project is completed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular job site safety audits and inspections
- Lead toolbox talks, orientations, and ongoing safety training
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Investigate and document incidents and near-misses
- Maintain safety records, permits, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to promote safe work practices
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of construction safety experience preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent preferred
