Location: Morristown, NJ

About the Job

The Sales Strategy Sales Analyst will work closely with the Allergy and Digestive Sales Strategy team to drive the business through various analytical projects. This person must thrive in a team environment and develop and maintain relationships with counterparts on various levels of the organization. The Sales Analyst will have interactions with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Consumer Promotions, and 3rd party vendors.  The Sales Analyst will help set standards for increased performance, evaluate progress of initiatives, and recommend corrective action when necessary. Part of this work requires an understanding of the competitive environment and maintaining awareness of competitive conditions. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging syndicated data to deliver weekly and monthly reporting dashboards, maintaining and evolving the dashboards as needed over time
  • Delivery of weekly POS reporting with supporting insight
  • Tracking business trends and impact of changes to Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving activities to identify issues and opportunities
  • Development of customer-facing presentations including selling materials
  • Track key customer performance, identify gaps, and recommend solutions
  • Gain thorough understanding of Sanofi trade management software and assist in forecast reporting and interpretation
  • Provide data-based recommendations to aid in customer specific selling efforts and business management.
  • Leverage data suite to perform pre and post promo analysis
  • Provide weekly/monthly updates to sales team, with focus on sales trends, category & market share, competitive performance, and pricing by leveraging syndicated data
  • Perform other ad hoc business support duties as required

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of proven delivery in CPG, preferably within OTC/Healthcare/Personal Care. Strong business acumen; proficient category and Health Care segment knowledge
  • Experience utilizing Nielsen or IRI syndicated data with the ability to analyze and evaluate several sources of data to develop actionable insights
  • Ability to bring outstanding interpersonal skills (including excellent oral and written communication), strong problem-solving skills to any discussion with colleagues and/or customers
  • You are a learner - always seeking to improve yourself, your team, and the world around you
  • You thrive on direct, honest, and supportive communication
  • You are always thinking about how to help the teammates around you excel
  • Extremely organized, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Office expert (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)

The salary range for this position is:  $75,000.00 - $105,000.00
