Sales Development Representative

D.C. Elevator is part of American Elevator Group (AEG), a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating across the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a talent for new customer engagement as we look to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) working out of our Louisville, KY office.

The SDR will be the initial point of contact for new prospects with a focus on coordinating appointments on behalf of our Business Development Representatives.

Responsibilities:

• High-volume outbound cold calling
• Qualifying and building prospect relationships
• Booking appointments between prospects and our Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
• Answers incoming calls and communications; determine and assign the priority level of a call.
• Adeptly uses multi-line telephone system and other communications methods and networks.
• Asking questions and determining the caller situation via interpretation, analyses, and anticipation.
• Enter and update information in computer databases.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Hazards:

• This job operates in a general office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Special Physical Demands:

• This is a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files up-to fifteen pounds, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
