Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an Order Engineer Internship on our team.

Internship Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop a basic understanding of our products or services, including their technical specifications, features, and benefits.
• Provide technical guidance to account coordinators and buyers
• Understand customer requirements to verify and engineer IFS assemblies to process orders
• Engage with Inside Sales to verify construction requirements to engineer IFS assemblies
• Be the technical resource for Account Coordinators and Buyers
• Manage aspects of customer orders including order entry, purchasing and vendor correspondences
• Work closely with internal teams, including other business unit inside sales groups, outside sales, inventory planning, and customer support, to coordinate activities and ensure a seamless customer experience
• Develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of appropriate business practices and procedures
• Participate in customer meetings as required
• Provide day-to-day phone support to internal and external customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
• Stay updated on product enhancements and new releases to appropriately engineer new orders
• Navigate efficiently between multiple software programs
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

Internship Education and Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering program or other technical bachelor's or associate degree program
• 6 months of relevant experience
• Previous experience developing industrial quotations and job estimates.
• Easily navigate unit conversions and units by metrics for process conditions
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills and experience
• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools is a plus

Internship Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work extended hours on a computer

Internship Pay:

• Hourly Rate: $25

Salary Description
