Job Description

What We’re Looking For:

The Sales Manager / Finance Manager role is instrumental to our store’s day-to-day operations, responsible for customer retention and profitability of the sales department. We want a candidate that is an expert in solving problems quickly and efficiently.

As a Sales Manager, you are expected to hire, motivate, train, answer leads, talk to customers, and focus on CSI. As a Finance Manager you are expected to handle all documents and paperwork, selling of warranties and other ancillary products, funding deals with banks, and maintaining high CSI scores. Not only are you responsible for driving our team towards success you’re also the person who guides them there.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach sales team on proper closing techniques through training and active participation
  • Maintain profitability of your teams
  • Manage all showroom activities
  • Hire, motivate, and monitor the performance of New & Used team, Internet Sales team
  • Conduct daily and weekly sales and sales training meetings
  • Coach both new and experienced sales reps on best practices for improving performance
  • Ensure proper follow up of all prospective buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a CRM system
  • Establish delivery procedures
  • Ensure delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service appointment
  • Forecast goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis
  • Arrange vehicle financing options for customers and sell after-market products and extended warranties
  • Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index score

Qualifications:

  • Automotive sales management experience is required
  • High ethical standards and strong attention to details
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Computer proficient, a good work ethic and professional appearance
  • Able to prioritize tasks and have good time management skills
  • Fully versed in leasing and special finance
  • Experienced with state law requirements including registrations, tag, tax, and title paperwork
  • Valid driver’s license
