Job Description

The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for proactive (outbound) customer calls to qualify and generate 'clean' project leads for Field Sales team. Responsibilities include project and lead tracking, establish and maintain customer relationships, determine service and product needs for both existing and new customers, accurate and timely updates to CRM system.

Our desire is to find a candidate who is looking for an entry into Formica field sales. This position will quickly prepare a motivated candidate with the skill and industry knowledge needed for an outside field sales opportunity within North America.

Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred. Required skills and experience also include:

  • Able to function as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to field sales representatives in an assigned territory
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation and analytical skills required.
  • Selected candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of LX or another ERP system preferred.
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic.
  • Candidates must be available to work a flexible work schedule with the core hours of 10a-6:30 to support the West Coast.
