Job Description
Who You'll Work With:
We are seeking a Nashville based Salesforce Developer to join our Global Technology & Operations business unit. This is a hands-on position which requires a person who will work closely with the scrum master, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of agreed-upon Salesforce solutions and provide regular progress updates throughout the development lifecycle.
What You'll Do:
In this Salesforce Developer role with Alliance Bernstein's CRM & Sales Enablement Team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to design, develop, and optimize solutions that drive business success. Leveraging your technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills, you will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment to deliver robust integrations, automate processes, and enhance user experiences. The position requires active participation in cross-functional projects and a commitment to continuous improvement, making teamwork and the ability to address complex challenges essential for success. You will work across a wide-range of technologies beyond Core Salesforce in this high-visibility, high-impact role.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Visualforce, API integrations, flows, and at least 3 years focusing on Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
- Experience with Salesforce development tools and environments: Developer Console, Visual Studio Code, DX, Azure DevOps / Git and Data Loader.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies: Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SOQL, SOSL, REST and SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Pub/Sub API, and Bulk API 2.0.
- Ability to manage users, construct data models, and automate processes using declarative tools.
- Working knowledge and experience with .NET and C#.
- Knowledge and experience with SQL and RDBMS.
- Collaborate with other developers, administrators, and business analysts to design complex Salesforce solutions that integrate with external systems through APIs and other methods.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high-quality output and adherence to LWC & Aura best practices.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing Salesforce applications, customizations, and integrations, providing ongoing support and improvements as needed.
- Prepare technical documentation for developed features, including design documents, test cases, and user guides.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within an Agile environment.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required, and Platform Developer II certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
