Job Description
What You'll Do:
Supervision of Clean Up / Sanitation of the Plant
- Cleaning at the end of production
- The Production Manager is a back-up for this position
Paperwork
- Documentation of what has been cleaned and when
- Order Chemicals and Janitorial Supplies
- Write & Update Cleaning Procedures for production lines
- Manage and direct pest control program
Vendor Relations
Requirements for Success:
- 4 year degree in Food Science, Management/Supervision, or equivalent
- Certified PCO, preferred
- 2-4 years' experience in Sanitation &/or Supervision - food industry preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements, equipment operation, & chemicals
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Computer proficient - MS Office
- Excellent Communication skills - written & verbal
- Problem solver
- Able to make quick, but accurate decisions
- Good leadership qualities
- Self-Starter
- Proactive
- Able to work well with others
