Denton Nursing and RehabWe are seeking an experienced Nursing Scheduler (Staffing Coordinator) to join our healthcare team! The ideal candidate has prior experience in long-term care or nursing home staffing and thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.About the Role:The Nursing Scheduler is responsible for managing all aspects of the nursing department’s staffing plan, ensuring our residents receive consistent, quality care. You’ll coordinate staff schedules, track attendance, fill open shifts, and support department heads in maintaining proper coverage across all shifts.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain staffing schedules for nurses and aides.
Monitor attendance, call-outs, and ensure coverage for all shifts.
Communicate with department heads regarding staffing needs and adjustments.
Collaborate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, and staff changes.
Assist in staff training and in-service participation as needed.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies.

Previous experience in long-term care or nursing home scheduling required.
