Job Description
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional Seasonal Barista to join our team for the busy holiday season. This role is all about creating memorable guest experiences through timely and personalized service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, personalized service to all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of appliances and counter space throughout the shift.
- Manage trash removal and general upkeep of the barista station.
- Greet and welcome customers with a positive attitude.
- Handle customer complaints professionally or escalate to the manager.
- Operate cash registers and record transactions accurately.
- Inform customers of available payment options (cash, check, credit/debit).
- Monitor inventory and restock shelves as needed.
- Count cash drawer before and after shifts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain neat appearance and professional demeanor.
- Handle repetitive tasks with precision and consistency.
- Maintain transaction records using basic computer systems.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be respectful and courteous to guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Strong integrity, honesty, and accountability.
Wage Scale
- $14.00-$15.40 + tips
