Gleam Electrical & Lighting Design is searching for individuals who are looking to join a team during the upcoming Christmas season. Christmas time tends to be the busiest season for our company due to all the Christmas lights that need to be put up and taken down. We are seeking for individuals who are driven, enthusiastic, and quick learners. You should be well-organized, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible.
To be successful as a helper, you must have great time management skills and be willing to fit into the existing staff structure. Outstanding helpers are those who respond well to criticism, build good relationships with colleagues, and ultimately make a lasting impression. No experience is required as we offer thorough on the job training for this position.
Your Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time to work daily
- Install Christmas Lights on residential homes and commercial buildings
- Participate in night time adjustments and walkthroughs on projects completed
- Maintain shop and truck organization and cleanliness
- Hang out door hangers in the neighborhood of installations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Good physical strength and hand-eye coordination may be required.
- Comfortable with using ladders and being as high as 40' above ground.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- A growth mindset and passion for learning.
- Reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools
Essential Physical Requirements
- Must be able and willing to work indoors/outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 50-100 pounds
- Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
