Description
As a Senior Tax Manager and Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the tax practice area within our company. With your expertise and leadership skills, you will lead a team of tax professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned public accounting professional to take on a strategic role and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support on tax-related matters
  • Develop and implement tax strategies and initiatives to optimize tax planning and compliance for our clients
  • Review and analyze complex tax issues, providing guidance and recommendations to clients
  • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and proactively identifying tax planning opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the seamless integration of tax services within our overall service offerings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any tax-related concerns or inquiries
  • Monitor the performance and productivity of the tax practice area, implementing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field; master's degree preferred
  • CPA or EA licensure strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in tax accounting
  • Sophisticated knowledge of income tax planning, compliance, and consulting
  • Proficiency with TaxAct Professional (or similar tax preparation software), Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge for filing 1040, 1041, 1120, and 709 tax returns
  • Valid PTIN
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and solve problems
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
