Job Description

ANINE BING is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team based in Los Angeles.

This role is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of ANINE BING. As a key contributor within our global Finance & Accounting team, the Senior Accounting Manager brings both strategic insight and hands-on execution — supporting our continued growth while staying grounded in the brand’s DNA: refined, fast-moving, and always evolving.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a performance-driven, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate pairs strong technical accounting expertise with a clear, big-picture mindset, and is energized by building scalable, best-in-class financial processes alongside a global team.

This role sits within a global Accounting organization. While primarily accountable for the U.S. scope, the role plays a meaningful role in driving global financial alignment, leading consolidated reporting, and upholding consistent accounting standards — partnering closely with international counterparts and leadership.

This is a hybrid position based at our Los Angeles HQ, working in-office a minimum of three times per week. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead accounting operations and close activities across the Group, ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reporting packages, playing a central role in global consolidation and group reporting
  • Ensure integrity of the general ledger across entities, including balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and insightful variance analysis for Finance leadership
  • Partner closely with regional accounting leaders to align processes, timelines, and standards across the Group
  • Lead, develop, and scale accounting teams and resources in support of close, transactional accounting, and evolving business needs
  • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, accountants, and tax advisors, contributing to coordinated audits and financial reviews at the group level
  • Oversee accounting compliance, policies, and internal controls, ensuring consistency with global standards and governance frameworks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Supply Chain on inventory accounting, reconciliations, and controls, ensuring consistent treatment across regions
  • Drive continuous improvement of accounting systems, workflows, and controls to support scalability, accuracy, and future organizational change
  • Support ad hoc financial and strategic initiatives in partnership with the CFO and broader Finance leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within retail, fashion, or consumer goods.
  • Proven experience leading U.S. accounting operations within a multi-entity, complex environment.
  • Deep working knowledge of U.S. GAAP; experience partnering with international teams is a plus.
  • Demonstrated people leader with a track record of developing and managing high-performing accounting teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving HQ environment with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong systems mindset with experience driving process improvements, scalability, and internal controls.

Benefits & Perks

  • Work/Life Balance: Enjoy flexible work schedules, generous paid time off, and additional summer days to recharge and reset.
  • In-Office Perks: Benefit from a hybrid work schedule and free daily in-office lunches designed to keep you energized, connected, and supported throughout your day.
  • We offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage—with ANINE BING covering a significant portion of the cost. Our benefits extend to your family and include a generous parental leave program.
  • Style Perks: Enjoy a generous employee discount and seasonal wardrobe allotments—so you can live the brand, not just represent it.

The target compensation for this role is between $145,000 - $165,000 annually
