Job Description

Role:   

Senior Advisory Consultant, Treasury

Location:

  • Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
  • Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45-minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.
  • Travel Expectations: Up to 20%

What You'll Do:

  • Work alongside a team of Treasury experts to advise global companies on their Treasury function, including: designing and selecting treasury technology, assessing bank relationships and services, improving liquidity utilization, developing policies and controls, and identifying tech-agnostic, process improvement recommendations
  • Assist in developing executive-level presentations that translate complex issues into clear recommendations across processes, systems, and people
  • Perform primary research to map processes, uncover issues, identify gaps, and design innovative solutions for challenging client problems
  • Utilize cutting-edge statistical tools and software to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights
  • Cultivate client relationships through delivery excellence

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience working in consulting, corporate treasury, or bank treasury
  • Functional understanding of treasury management systems (TMS), such as: Kyriba, GTreasury, FIS Integrity/Quantum, SAP TRM, etc.
  • Knowledge of various treasury instruments, financial institution services, and financial products
  • Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, engagement economics (profitability), and communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can clearly convey complex business concepts to internal and external project stakeholders
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
  • Prior client-facing consulting experience
  • Functional understanding of treasury best practices across bank relationship management, cash and liquidity forecasting, FX, debt capital markets, accounting and reconciliation, and/or system optimizations
  • Direct experience with treasury transformations, vendor selections, and TMS implementations

The compensation range for this position is $84,000 - $110,000. We are committed to ensuring our offers reflect the value each candidate brings to the role. Final salary placement will be based on upon several factors, including, level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for our performance-based bonus program and standard benefits offerings.
