About the Team:Our Data Lake Engineering Team operates at the heart of Walmart/VIZIO's data strategy, focusing on building scalable data solutions and pipelines. We are committed to leveraging advanced data techniques to unlock business value, drive innovation, and support decision-making across the organization. In this role, you'll play a critical part in enhancing our data infrastructure and delivering high-performance data solutions.What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement ETL processes for data integration.
• Manage and optimize data pipelines for analytics and operational use.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas.
• Utilize SQL, Python, and big data tools to transform and analyze data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven projects.
• Ensure data quality and governance standards are met.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, SQL, and/or Scala.
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Expertise in AWS cloud services and data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong understanding of data formats like Avro, Parquet, and JSON.
• Hands-on experience in full-stack web development and REST APIs.
• A BS or MS in Computer Science or a similar relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud-based ecosystems.
