We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Engineer to lead manufacturing development of systems level product used in Healthcare and Industrial applications. This role requires 2 - 5 years' experience in working closely with suppliers/ partners, located in different time zones.

Potential candidate is expected to:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop systems level products in health care and Industrial applications that includes medical devices, sub-systems, medical imaging modules. Adheres to strict documentation practices in a regulated environment and owns design control processes.
  • Own manufacturing engineering and work with QA and Reliability teams to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for complex processes to meet manufacturability, scalability, and overall cost targets.
  • Take leadership in PFMEA activities, design and execute experiments using DOE, FMEA and statical analysis to characterize and improve process stability and yields.
  • Takes accountability in design and process development for high volume production. Benchmark industry best practices and evaluate emerging technologies for design and process innovation.
  • Manage the project through development of design iterations, substrate layout/simulation, assembly of prototype, and qualification of final product to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to collate information with appropriate supporting data and present into a coherent report for communication and distribution.
  • Communicate complex engineering ideas to global teams in simple and effective way but rooted in engineering principles.
  • Understanding or general systems-level industrial design, process development and quality requirements, specifically on Medical Devices and Systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering (mechanical/ material science/applied physics or equivalent), Ph.D. holder
  • Must have 2 to 5 years of industrial working experience in semiconductor packaging; electronics assembly and test.
  • Exposure to working in regulated manufacturing environment for Medical / Industrial devices will be distinct advantage.
  • Good knowledge in advanced semiconductor packages, modules, and systems. Familiarity with design controls, procedure development and applicable tools.
  • Required to have educational background in fundamentals of materials and their mechanical behavior. Ability to apply them in mechanical design.
  • Must be able to use 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks) for design reviews and design modifications
  • Demonstrate engineering aptitude with learning mindset, excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills during interview process.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $94,000 to $129,250.

  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
