So, what will the Senior Exercise Planner atTerrestris do?

The Senior Exercise Planner will lead the development and execution of tactical exercise scenarios, ensuring they align with program objectives and operational goals. They will support the creation of key deliverables such as concept briefs, exercise and test plans, operational orders, data collection plans, and after-action reports. This role includes coordinating and participating in planning conferences, preparing and delivering briefs, and managing logistical requirements for exercise events.During execution, the Senior Exercise Planner will oversee exercise coordination, supervise data collection, and support on-site operations to ensure objectives are met and outcomes are properly documented.

What does a typical day look like for a SeniorExercise Planner?

You will:

• Participate in planning conferences supporting exercises.
• Provide assistance with drafting Test Plan/OPORD, Data Collection Plan and AnalysisPlan based upon input generated during planning conferences.
• During exercises, assist ships' company in comprehending and executing plans, and by ensuring they collect pertinent data required to support exercise reconstruction and analysis.
• Communicate exercise results orally and in written formats to representatives of naval commands, engineering labs, and program offices.
• Apply familiarity with the design and construction of experiments to assist with the design of events or exercises.
• Assist in providing insight during ad hoc workshops and conferences.

What qualifications do you look for?

• You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:
• A combined 8-10 years of Navy experience.
• A minimum of four years of experience in planning naval USW exercises.
• Capability for preparation of reports and correspondence that are technically correct.
• Possession of excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Active Secret clearance or Secret eligibility.
