Currently, Envolve is searching for a Senior Maintenance Technician to work at one of our apartment communities in Richmond, VA. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical as well as assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

The successful candidate must have experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical as well as assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

Duties:

Assistant to the Maintenance Supervisor and helps with the oversight of the maintenance technicians

• Inspects vacant units and ensures turnovers are complete
• Use tablets to enter work orders, order supplies etc.
• Complete work orders. Some examples of painting, repairing sheetrock, HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
• Move heavy equipment properly
• Be available for on-calls

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate has HVAC certification (preferred but not required) with (3) plus years of Maintenance Technician experience. Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment. This candidate must be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Normal work hours are usually between 8am - 5pm, Mon-Fri (may vary slightly based on season) with occasional overtime required.
