Job Description

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? Well, we pump peanut butter into your jar, and the oil in your car. We glue the soles of your shoes, the glass in your windows and the screen on your phone. We spray the finish on your vehicle, coatings on your pills, the paint on your house and texture on your walls. Graco is part of your daily life.

This role is currently based at our Minneapolis office and will transition to our new headquarters in Dayton, MN, in 2027.

The Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure Services at Graco is Graco is responsible for leading and managing the organization's global IT infrastructure, including Network Services, Cloud Services, Compute & Storage platforms, and regional IT support services across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. This role focuses on ensuring that the company's infrastructure is secure, scalable, and highly available to support business operations. The Director will also oversee the infrastructure architecture to ensure it aligns with business objectives and fosters innovation in IT operations.

What You Will Do at Graco

Global IT Infrastructure Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the IT infrastructure landscape, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and future growth.
  • Provide leadership and direction for global IT operations, covering network, cloud, compute, and storage services, as well as regional support in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
  • Define the infrastructure roadmap and strategic initiatives that drive digital transformation, lead the evaluation of emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Define infrastructure architecture standards and best practices, ensuring a unified approach to infrastructure deployment and management across the organization.

Network Services Management

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the company's global network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies.
  • Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems to maintain network health, resolve issues proactively, and support global operations.

Cloud, Compute & Storage Platform Services

  • Oversee the management of on-premise and cloud-based compute and storage platforms, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and aligned with business growth.
  • Oversee cloud migration efforts and hybrid cloud strategies, ensuring optimal use of cloud services to meet business needs while balancing cost and performance.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management while ensuring scalability for future business needs.
  • Lead the administration of data center operations, including server provisioning, virtualization, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Implement and maintain scalable compute and storage solutions that support the organization's data and application needs, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Drive the adoption of software-defined data center technologies to streamline infrastructure operations and enhance flexibility.

Regional IT Support Services (EMEA, APAC, Americas)

  • Provide leadership and oversight of regional IT support teams, ensuring that IT infrastructure services are effectively delivered and aligned with local business requirements in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
  • Establish and enforce global standards for IT support services, while allowing for regional variations to address specific business needs and challenges.
  • Ensure that regional teams are fully equipped to manage day-to-day operations, incident response, and service delivery, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across regional IT support teams.

Team Leadership and Financial Management

  • Lead, mentor, manage, and staff an IT Infrastructure Services team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and facilitating professional growth opportunities.
  • Establish, manage, and be accountable for the annual budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and contract negotiations for infrastructure services, ensuring the organization receives high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on service quality or performance.

What You Will Bring to Graco

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.) is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global teams and infrastructure services.
  • Deep knowledge of network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, VPN, SD-WAN) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Extensive experience with compute and storage platform services, including virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.,) and data center operations.
  • Expertise in designing and managing hybrid cloud environments, cloud migration strategies, and multi-cloud deployments.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure architecture, automation, and orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform, ServiceNow).
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance in a global context.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire large, distributed teams across regions. Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to align infrastructure services with business needs and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

$123,500.00 - $216,100.00
