Job Description

Purpose:

Floor & Décor seeks a Senior Manager, IT for its Atlanta, GA office. The Senior Manager Information Technology is responsible for managing systems and processes, particularly with Stibo STEP MDM, PO Management Systems. Managing a team of at least 6 team members on various phases of the product and software development lifecycle, the Senior Manager Information Technology leads requirements gathering efforts, configuring systems, software development, automation testing (including stress and load testing), and performance of release deployment activities. Responsibilities and duties include:

1) Lead high-level requirements and design gathering story mapping across IT, Merchandising, Global Sourcing and Compliance, eComm, and Supply Chain Organizations and documented requirements.

2) Ability to translate detailed business requirements and process improvements into technical requirements with Consultants and Developers

3) Perform Data Migration Activities with legacy systems using Import & Export transformations.

4) Develop test plans for Stibo STEP system and perform end-to-end regression testing for all production deployments.

5) Troubleshoot production issues, replicate issues in the test environment and coordinate with consultants/IT for solutions. Design, configure, validate, and present software solutions, including advanced technology concepts, future direction, and industry solutions (WMS, TMS, Omni-Channel, CRM, SFA, and PIM)

6) Share responsibility for the development and execution of the multi-year IT Roadmap and technology strategy with the management team

7) Explain technical issues to a variety of audiences, including key business managers and experienced software developers.

8) Maintain product consistency throughout the system life cycle including the requirements, design, and construction phases through quality checkpoints and reviews

9) Drive requirements and design using retail experience, interviews, document analysis, requirements, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis - leverage past retail experience

10) Develop and maintain strong teaming relationships with other members of the company to leverage application, process, and technology expertise

11) Provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives, and performance to plan

12) Mentor and enhance the skills of service management, business intelligence, and development resources

Requirements:

Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, supply chain management, management information systems or closely related field and 5 years of work experience in offered or similar position. May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
