Become an Assembler! We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment function during a pivotal time of growth. This is a player-coach role you’ll own full-cycle recruiting for key roles while managing and mentoring a team of recruiters. You’ll lead strategy, own reporting and KPIs, and ensure our talent pipeline supports both immediate hiring needs and long-term workforce planning.
This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to our VP of People and Culture
What You Will Do
Leadership & Team Management
- Model best practices as a full-cycle recruiter for roles within the organization.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters and/or coordinators.
- Cultivate a collaborative and accountable team culture focused on results and candidate experience.
Strategic Talent Acquisition
- Design and execute the talent acquisition strategy to meet company growth objectives.
- Build scalable sourcing strategies and A/B testing to proactively grow talent pipelines in critical functions.
- Leverage various channels like job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals to find qualified
- Partner with business leaders and the HRPBs to forecast hiring needs and prioritize recruiting efforts.
Data, KPIs & Reporting
- Define and track key hiring metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, funnel conversion).
- Own ATS optimization and reporting to support data-driven decisions.
- Analyze pipeline data and market trends to inform talent strategies and hiring plans.
Process Improvement & Employer Branding
- Continuously improve recruiting processes for efficiency, consistency, and quality of hire.
- Leverage tools and trends within the market to improve time to hire.
- Collaborate with marketing and HR to enhance employer brand and candidate experience.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and internal hiring policies.
What it takes to join the family
- 5–8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with 2+ years in a management or lead role.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to operate at both tactical and strategic levels.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor recruiting teams while executing full-cycle recruitment.
- Experience owning recruitment metrics, reporting, and workforce planning.
- Proficient with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday), LinkedIn Recruiter, and hiring analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Adaptable to change and willingness to learn different processes—we are Assemblers, after all!
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
