Job Description

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for leading consulting projects, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and industry expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Job responsibilities may vary based on client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and technology challenges. Manage team of IT professionals.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop technology strategies that align with their business goals and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions on time and within budget. Oversee project planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing technology systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending best practices.
  • Design and propose innovative technology solutions that meet client requirements, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Support clients in managing organizational change related to technology initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
  • Provide training and support to client teams, enhancing their understanding of new technologies and processes.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of technology solutions, providing ongoing recommendations for optimization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 Years experience in technology consulting, project management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of technology trends, tools, and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with change management and organizational development practices.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCNA, Microsoft, Security +)
  • Experience in:

o eRate

o Cisco Route Switch

o Meraki

o Aruba

o Alcatel

Work Environment

The position will be responsible for working directly on site with our K-12 clients including customers, client staff and administrators

$95,000 - $125,000 a year
