The Senior PediaStaff Recruiting Consultant is a high-performing individual contributor responsible for sourcing, engaging, and securing qualified healthcare professionals to serve students across K-12 school districts. This role specializes in the full-cycle recruitment of school-based clinicians, ensuring placements are timely, compliant with district and state requirements, and aligned with client needs. The role contributes directly to staffing fulfillment targets and plays a critical role in building pipelines of K-12 healthcare professionals.
What you'll do:
Recruitment Delivery
- Manage the candidate lifecycle from job posting, proactive sourcing, resume review, initial outreach, screening interviews, to candidate submittals.
- Source and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified K-12 healthcare professionals (e.g., school nurses, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and behavioral specialists).
- Screen candidates for alignment with K-12 job requirements, district certification standards, and availability prior to submittal.
- Prioritize urgent school requisitions and submit qualified candidates quickly and accurately.
Candidate and Client Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the sourcing, screening, and submittal process.
- Respond to candidate communications across channels (calls, emails, texts) with urgency and professionalism.
- Collaborate with credentialing and account management teams to ensure candidate information is complete and submission-ready.
Performance and Production
- Consistently meet or exceed recruitment activity goals, including maintaining 15+ Travelers on Assignment (TOA).
- Track and document candidate interactions, submissions, and pipeline status using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Operate efficiently and with attention to speed in a high-volume, performance-driven staffing model.
Compliance and Process Integrity
- Ensure accuracy in candidate records and application materials before submission.
- Support the credentialing process by collecting required documentation and flagging potential issues early to compliance or HR teams.
- Recognize and route any benefits or payroll-related questions to appropriate internal partners.
Continuous Learning and Adaptability
- Stay informed on client needs, market shifts, and evolving healthcare staffing trends.
- Embrace changes in recruiting tools, processes, and technology that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in healthcare staffing, with a required focus on K-12 or school-based healthcare disciplines (R).
- Demonstrated success submitting multiple qualified school healthcare candidates weekly.
- Proven ability to maintain a steady roster of clinicians on assignment across school districts.
- ATS proficiency; experience with Bullhorn, Avionté, or similar systems preferred.
- Familiarity with state licensure, school credentialing requirements, and district compliance standards.
Compensation package: Competitive Salary + commission plan
