Job Description

Description:We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with experience in enterprise networking, network security, network protocols, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies, network access and control, and core network services. Proficiency with Cisco IOS, Juniper OS, and PAN OS is essential. Candidate must have experience working in DoD environments, including adherence to STIGs and classified network architectures. Experience with virtualization platforms (vCenter, ESXi, Hyper-V), software-defined networking, network segmentation, and infrastructure automation is required. A solid understanding of Windows Server environments is also necessary to support infrastructure integration. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams is crucial for success in this position. Experience with voice communication integration tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for

providing ADP lab computer infrastructure

support, asset management, cyber resiliency,

technical design, system development, system

test and capability enhancements. Candidate will

participate in operations and all project phases

including proposal development, design,

component procurement, system integration,

and system verification. Candidate will be

responsible for contributing to system design,

system stand-up, and system deployment.

The position will require close coordination with

program cyber security representatives, cross-functional lab development engineering teams

and lab customers.

Candidate must exhibit: excellent problem-solving

skills, be a team player, possess excellent

communication and interpersonal skills, be able

to adjust the work schedule periodically to support program activities, and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. The candidate must be willing to mentor junior-level team members.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is

located at a facility that requires special access.

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a

secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim

secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Considered an emerging authority. Valid CompTIA Security + certification.

Valid Top Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills:

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
