Senior Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Lob, you'll contribute to several applications related to Logistics using primarily Node.js, Go, and Vue.js. You'll work in a Service-Oriented Architecture with resources on AWS, leveraging SQS queues and Lambda functions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll…

• Contribute to the development of supply chain and logistics solutions
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop solutions for business cases;
• Collaborate with product and business partners to understand the problems we're trying to solve;
• Write documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What will you bring to this role…

• 4-8 years of experience working as a Software Engineer, preferably with Node.js, Go, C++, Vue, or similar programming languages
• 3-5 years of experience working with NoSQL stores, such as Redis
• Experience working with job-queueing systems, such as SQS, Kafka, Kinesis, etc, is a plus
• Experience working with APIs, either through the integration with external APIs or the development of internal APIs
• Experience working with relational databases, such as Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL.
• Experience working with unit and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
• Experience writing documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Compensation information

Base: $160,000 - $190,000
