Job Description

Make an Impact Where It Matters Most

At Intelliforce, innovation fuels security. As a Senior Software Engineer supporting the AdmitIT TTO, you’ll join a team of expert developers building and automating AdmitIT and ICAM solutions that advance the Department of Defense’s Zero Trust architecture. Your work will directly strengthen the security posture of enterprise systems through full-stack development, automation, and secure configuration. You’ll collaborate with principal engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure technology solutions for mission-critical environments.

Schedule and Work Details

  • Location: Government or Contractor Facility, Ft. Meade, MD area

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, normal day shift

  • Start Date: Immediate

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

  • Build, manage, and automate AdmitIT and ICAM product installations for DoD customers

  • Develop full-stack Java applications using Spring Boot and RESTful services

  • Implement microservices architectures and integrate with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL

  • Develop and maintain secure code supporting PKI, TLS, and SSL certificates

  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for continuous integration and deployment

  • Write automation and infrastructure code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates

  • Develop Linux-based scripts and cron jobs using Bourne Shell, C, or Python

  • Build and manage containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes

  • Support configuration management and deployments using Puppet and Ansible

  • Document system architectures, processes, and configurations using Confluence and JIRA

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline plus twelve (12) years of experience

  • OR sixteen (16) years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of a degree

  • Experience supporting SIGINT, IA, or IT domains is preferred

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in full-stack Java development using Spring Boot

  • Experience developing RESTful services and microservice architectures

  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL

  • Proficiency with PKI, TLS, and SSL security concepts

  • CI/CD automation experience with GitLab pipelines

  • Scripting experience in Linux using Python, Bash, or Bourne Shell

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Infrastructure as Code development using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates

  • Deployment automation with Puppet and Ansible

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of ICAM capabilities and integration methods

  • Experience with ElasticSearch and related analytics tools

  • Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA

  • Proven ability to multi-task and deliver under minimal supervision

  • Experience producing technical documentation such as user guides, wikis, and XML/HTML artifacts

Compensation Range: $196,000.00 - $258,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
