Position Summary:

Your Impact (Essential Duties):Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and consolidated tax returnsReview associates’ and interns’ tax returns, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and support growthPerform and review quarterly and annual accounting procedures to prepare financial records for tax purposesIdentify organizational structures and related entities for tax implications and big-picture impactsEnsure accurate and complete data for filings, identifying and communicating missing informationCalculate quarterly and annual estimated tax liabilities accuratelyConduct tax planning to identify opportunities for improvement and added value for clientsResearch and resolve complex tax issues, providing guidance and recommendationsCommunicate effectively with team members and clients, providing updates and addressing questionsSupervise, train, and mentor associates and interns to enhance team performance and skill developmentContribute to team efforts by assisting with projects and engaging in collaborative problem-solvingStay updated on tax laws and best practices through ongoing training and independent learningManage engagements efficiently, meeting deadlines, particularly during high-demand periodsPerform other duties and displays flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership  Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivityYour Background:3-5 years of experience in tax preparationCPA license or eligibleBachelor’s degree in accounting or related fieldIn-depth understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirementsProficiency in tax preparation software and accounting toolsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and document reviewsStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team membersExceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAnalytical skills to solve complex tax issues and understand broader financial implicationsLeadership and mentoring abilities to supervise and develop junior staffFull-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines
