In this critical role, you will perform the final review of complex tax returns to ensure accuracy, compliance, and the highest level of client service. You will collaborate with our tax preparers and managers, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior staff in a fully paperless environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Review federal, multi-state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Identify and resolve complex tax issues; prepare and review supporting documentation.
  • Mentor, train, and assist in the supervision of junior staff.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and address tax-related questions.
  • Research and resolve tax planning and compliance issues; provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Remain current on changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist with tax projections, planning, and advisory services for clients.
  • Utilize technology efficiently in a paperless environment and support the adoption of new tools and processes. 
Key Qualifications
  • Certification: Active CPA or EA license (required)
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of recent experience in public accounting with a focus on tax review 
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes
  • Proficient with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or similar)
  • Comfortable working in a paperless, technology-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities 

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
