Job Description

Now Open in Jacksonville. Chefs Matthew and David Medure are taking their culinary skills to Mayo Clinic. Medure Brothers Culinary Concepts opened a 220-seat, 7,000 square foot upscale-casual restaurant and bar at the medical center’s Southside campus. The restaurant includes full-service dining plus full-service bar, and coffee shop plus a grab-and-go area. The sit-down restaurant is open both to hospital visitors and the general public.

Our Server Assistants assist servers by performing any tasks necessary to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You are a natural people person who can quickly build rapport with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities, you rely on your excellent organization and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Be a brand ambassador, ensuring each guest has a memorable experience
  • Assist waitstaff and bartenders in providing excellent guest service
  • Run food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables in a timely manner
  • Ensure guests have everything they need
  • Clean and reset tables
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations
  • Perform opening, closing and side duties as required
  • Support and assist fellow team members whenever possible
  • Contribute to an overall positive and collaborative environment
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in a full service restaurant preferred
  • The genuine desire to provide outstanding hospitality to our guests
  • Professional, well groomed, and confident with an outgoing personality
  • Ability to clearly communicate guests’ needs to other team members
  • Hardworking with a positive and upbeat attitude
  • Comfortable working with a team
  • Be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • Food Handler Certification a plus and will be required within 60 days of hire
