Who We're Looking For
ARC Document Solutions is seeking a full-time Service Center Manager Trainee to oversee employees and daily operations within the service center. This role ensures the facility is prepared to deliver exceptional quality and service. The Service Center Manager Trainee will support personnel and equipment readiness, maintain operational excellence, and uphold ARC's commitment to top-tier customer service and high‑quality output.
In This Role, You Will
Plan and direct print production activities, establishing production priorities aligned with operational efficiency and cost considerations
Manage the profitability of the service center, including analyzing and making financial decisions that impact the business
Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including equipment maintenance, customer service, employee management, inventory, and quality control
Communicate with employees regarding safety updates, branch performance, upcoming projects, company policies, and work schedules
Develop and maintain systems to measure branch performance against established standards
Establish and maintain effective inventory controls
Manage cash sales reporting and submissions
Revise production schedules and clarify priorities to meet client deadlines
Review production schedules and estimate labor requirements for job completion
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
2-5 years of progressive, hands‑on management experience in digital and/or color print solutions
Ability to read and understand financial statements (required)
Strong understanding of small format, large format, and digital/large format print solutions
Ability to assess and troubleshoot customer files and hard‑copy orders for production issues
Flexibility to work additional or non‑traditional hours as needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Hands‑on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Proven ability to articulate and promote products and solutions
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and align operations to achieve business results
Self‑motivated with the ability to build and lead teams
Demonstrated success in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers
Leadership experience in a similar print production environment is strongly preferred
