Job Description

Sheet Metal MechanicJennings Mechanical is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our growing team in Charleston, SC. If you have a strong background in commercial sheet metal work and want to be part of a company that values craftsmanship and teamwork, we want to hear from you!What You’ll Do:

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components for commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure precise installations
Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal using hand and power tools
Install ductwork, ventilation systems, and other sheet metal components
Ensure all work meets industry standards, safety regulations, and job specifications
Work alongside project managers, welders, and other trades to complete jobs on time
Maintain tools and equipment, keeping job sites clean and organized

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 3+ years in commercial sheet metal fabrication and installation
Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC systems, ductwork, and sheet metal fabrication techniques
Skills: Ability to measure, cut, and install sheet metal accurately
Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 preferred; Sheet Metal Apprenticeship or equivalent training is a plus
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and operate hand/power tools
License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
